Bathing adult dogs can be a bit of an undertaking, especially if they’re big and don’t like bathtime. Luckily, there are some breeds that you don’t have to bathe all that often. In fact, some only need shampoos when they’re visibly dirty.
Puppies, though, are a different story, primarily because they are so much more likely to get messy. Between exploring the world around them and figuring out housetraining, puppies are prone to getting dirty, which means you may need to bathe and shampoo your young pet more often than you would an adult dog. This is especially true if your pup spends a lot of time outside.
